As we begin February, we hope you are staying warm and cozy despite this frigid weather! We are happy to provide a full slate of yoga classes this month along with two special events. To make it easy to join us when your schedule allows, our regular classes are all drop-in; classes last for 70 minutes and are offered for $10. For the complete schedule, please see the online schedule—and read on for some February highlights!
New class and special opportunities:
- New class. Join Heather on Thursdays at 4 p.m. for a Basics practice. We are piloting this class for February and look forward to your feedback on this day/time combo.
- Intro to Yoga class. Know anyone looking for an easy way to start or re-start their yoga practice? (Or maybe it’s you!) Sign up for a free, one-hour class with Angie on Sat., Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. (To keep the class size small, registration is required for this session.)
- Yin classes two Fridays. Whether you are already a fan of Yin yoga or curious about what this style is like, we welcome you to join us on two Fridays at 5:30 p.m.: Leslie teaches on Fri., Feb. 12, and Angie teaches on Fri., Feb. 19.
- Meditation session. This month, Angie will lead a free meditation session on Zoom on Sat., Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. Join her here—beginners welcome! And if you’re looking forward to the next Meditation Made Easy workshop with Danny Brewington, mark your calendar for Sat., March 26, 11 a.m.
To continue to practice ahimsa (non-harming) in our community, we welcome vaccinated folks to in-person studio classes, and we wear masks while in the building.
The Pots Place
During the month of February, The Pots Place is closed for vacation, so save your shopping for March! Don’t worry, though—all of our studio classes will continue as scheduled. And remember that, should you ever be running late and find the front door locked, you can come to the back door (facing the alley) and ring the buzzer.
Public health
Warren County, like the rest of the country, is experiencing a “high” level of community transmission for COVID-19. Therefore, our studio follows CDC and state guidelines to wear masks in all public indoor spaces.
For help finding a vaccination, booster, or testing location, please reply to this email, and Angie will be happy to assist.
(CDC vaccine data, as of Jan. 30: Warren County fully vaccinated: 37.4%, nationally: 63.7%. Warren County 18 and older fully vaccinated: 43.9%, nationally: 74.1%.)
