As we transition into the month of March, we look forward to the arrival of a new season and more opportunities to practice yoga! We’d love to see you whether at the studio or an after class coffee break! Read on below to learn more about this month’s classes, including a donation class—and know that we invite everyone to join us anytime!
February Fundraising Recap: We were absolutely blown away by the way you rallied to support 4yoga during the recent fundraiser. You not only helped us meet our goal of $400, but exceeded it with $950 total raised to cover operating expenses in 2026! Words cannot express how grateful we are to this wonderful community for stepping up and showing their support!
March updates/ events:
- New teacher: We are excited to welcome Christy McClendon to the schedule in March! Some of you may have had the opportunity to attend the basics class Christy guest taught in February and starting in March she will begin to teach a few Basics classes each month. Join her for the Basics class on Sunday, March 1 and/ or Sunday, March 22, at 4:00 p.m.
- Donation Class to benefit Hotel, Inc.: On March 15, at 4:00 p.m. Uta will offer this month’s donation class benefiting Hotel, Inc. Thank you to Uta for offering the first donation class of the year—join her for the Basics class at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 15! Our donation classes serve our community by providing an opportunity for folks to take a class without paying a fee (donations are entirely optional) and supporting a local non-profit organization with 100% of the fees that are donated. Uta has selected Hotel, Inc. to receive class donations!
- Two opportunities for yoga nidra with Angie! We are pleased to continue to offer yoga nidra on two consecutive days this month. Join Angie either on Sun., March 22, at 5:30 p.m. for an in-person class, or on Mon., March 23 at 5:30 p.m. for the virtual class and spend 60 minutes being guided into a deeply relaxed state. (Please note: this will be the same yoga nidra, just offered on different dates in two different modalities.)
Other Reminders:
- Reopening of The Pots Place: The Pots Place gallery will reopen in March after the February break.
If you have questions about or feedback on our offerings, just drop Angie, Maria, or Uta an email (4yoga.me@gmail.com) or Facebook message or catch up with one of us at a post-class gathering. And, as always, for a full copy of the month’s schedule and descriptions of our class styles, please see the calendar page or pick up a hard copy at the studio.
