On Sunday, July 31, join us at the studio for a day of teacher transitions at 4yoga.
Carly initiated the Sunday-morning Basics class in July 2015, and we know many of you have enjoyed having that additional opportunity to practice each weekend. This Sunday, Carly will say “goodbye” to teaching at 4yoga as she takes a teaching hiatus to continue her studies at SKYCTC, where she will be majoring in Biology. When she gets a break from schoolwork and her job at Kroger’s pharmacy, Carly is looking forward to reading more fantasy novels and continuing and expanding her own personal yoga practice. Come to Carly’s 10 a.m. class to wish her well!
Cassandra will say “hello” as she guest teaches the 4 p.m. class. Cassandra practices the rigorous Jivamukti yoga in the lineage of Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga as well as the more gentle Awareness yoga, which is in the lineage of Svaroopa yoga. Having experienced the healing that yoga and meditation brings to body, mind, and spirit, Cassandra was led to complete an intensive 500-hour teacher training and is currently working toward her certification in Curvy yoga. She knows firsthand the stress-relieving properties of yoga, recognizes that life is practice, and delights in witnessing and participating in the unfolding that yoga brings to individuals.
