As we move into September we welcome the transition between summer and fall with the temperatures getting cooler and leaves starting to turn. September 22 marks the Autumn equinox, ushering in the changing of the seasons. It also symbolizes nature’s bounty with the coming harvest and reminds us to practice gratitude.
We are happy to continue to offer daily classes in September in a variety of styles, including Basics, Flow, Gentle, Basics/ Restorative, and Yoga Nidra. We would love for you to join us for one — or many classes throughout the month, everyone is welcome!
September updates/ upcoming events:
- Evening weeknight classes: In September, we continue to offer two weeknight evening classes at 6 p.m. Join Liz for a more vigorous practice with Flow on Mondays or Maria for a mix of movement and meditation with Basics/ Restorative on Wednesdays.
- Holiday class w/ Shigeko: Start Labor Day with yoga! Join Shigeko Monday, September 7 at 9 a.m. for Basics.
- Donation Class to benefit Feeding America: On Saturday, September 19th at 9 a.m. Liz will offer this month’s donation class. Our donation classes serve our community by providing an option to take a class for free if you need and by supporting a local non-profit organization with 100% of the donations made. This month Liz selected Feeding America to receive donations.
- Sunday Yoga Nidra w/ Angie: We are pleased to continue offering an in-person Yoga Nidra class in September. Join Angie on Sunday, September 20 at 5:30 p.m. and spend 60 minutes being guided into a deeply relaxed state.
- 4yoga 15th Anniversary: September 27 marks 4yoga’s 15th Anniversary, making us one of the oldest yoga studios in Bowling green, KY! To celebrate, we are inviting everyone to join us on Sunday, October 18th at 5:30 p.m. for a special anniversary celebration. More details are to come in the next few weeks. Please follow our events page on Facebook for more details.
- November book club meeting: Join us on Sunday, November 15 at 1:30 p.m. for our quarterly book club meeting, where we will discuss HOW TO NOT KNOW, by journalist Simone Stolzoff. Our book club is a free community event and always welcomes new members. We are happy to see folks whether they practice yoga with us or not. If you have an interest in November’s topic, grab the book, read as much as you want, and come for our chat. For those who prefer borrowing to buying, check out one of the copies available in both a physical copy and e-audiobook from the Warren County Public Library. Please see the Facebook Event page for more details and know that an RSVP helps us plan.
If you have questions about or feedback on our offerings, just drop Angie, Maria, or Uta an email (4yoga.me@gmail.com) or Facebook message or catch up with one of us at a post-class gathering. And, as always, for a full copy of the month’s schedule and descriptions of our class styles, please see the calendar page or pick up a hard copy at the studio.
